Race Categories
The GrALBA Series is open to riders of all levels, divided into the following race categories, and based on your age on 31st December.

19–34 years

…and any further 5-year category for which riders have entered.
Please note there needs to be at least 5 in an age category band to have a contestable podium for that event. In the event of less than 5 riders in a category, the age group band will be included within a 10 year age bracket.
Series Points System
Points are awarded at each round of the GrALBA Series
as follows:
Top 10 Finishers:
1st - 200 points
2nd -180 points
3rd - 170 points
4th - 160 points
5th - 150 points
6th - 140 points
7th - 135 points
8th - 130 points
9th - 125 points
10th - 120 points
11th to 21st Place:
-
11th place starts at 115 points, decreasing by 5 points per position down to 21st
22nd to 31st Place:
-
22nd place starts at 65 points, decreasing by 2 points per position down to 31st
32nd to 95th Place:
-
32nd place starts at 45 points, decreasing by 1 point
per position down to 95th
96th to 100th Place:
-
All finishers between 96th and 100th place receive
1 point
Riders are automatically given 10 points for starting any round, in addition to scoring any points from results.
Overall Series Standings
The best 3 performances across all rounds will determine the overall GrALBA Series Champion in each category. Consistency, endurance, and strategy will be key to claiming the GrALBA Series Title!
Riders are awarded 10 points from every event they enter, in addition to any points scored in results.
For example, if a rider comes 1st, they would score 200 + 10 points and come away with a total of 210. Similarly, if a rider finishes outside the top 100 and doesn't score any points from results, they will still score 10 points for riding. If I riders competes in every round, they are guaranteed a minimum of 60 points.
